OMG i am kickin butt'! Only in week 1 and am hell bent on keeping focused on the 'prize'! Nutrition and trianing 100% and this morning when i trained i stayed so focused and worked so hard i breezed through it (am sure i'll feel it tomorrow though!) ok, well, didn't breeze through my lunges... they always make me work til i feel like im going to freakin drop, but i kept telling myself that it could only get better!I went fishing with dan last night, made it through without even being tempted for a brew! it certainly helped that b4 i went i was stuck with the age old question "what do i wear????" (coz nuffink fits me) and a little voice piped up in my head saying "dont worry, it wont be too long and you'll be wearing ALL of your clothes again!!!!" i must say this gave me a spring in my step as i bounded out the door in my fat clothes feeling like a little porker.
Guys...im a bit stuck with my nutrition... ok, for brekky i had some home made bircher muesli with 1 C protein crunch and some skim milk; i didnt have a huge portion of muesli but i think it was the protein that filled me up. I ate it between 9-10am (at work) then didn't get hungry again til 2pm. I know the small regular meal thing speeds up your metabolism, but i just wasn't hungry..... any recommendations???
Other than that, my focus has blown even me away; i guess it's because i know how good it feels to feel my best and i also know that when i was on my last blitz and didn't drink alcohol for 6 weeks i got more results than in the 6 months i did it half assed sneaking in snacks and booze here and there. I figure it's just not worth it! If i can get there in 12 weeks then work on maintenance that is my priority.... i just can't believe how motivated i am it's AWESOME!!!
i have my role models cut out and stuck to the front of my training journal which rocks i look at them every day. i also have that gorgeous back shot of ms rae in there which amps me even more! HAPPY DAYS!!!
OH OH OH and GREAT news this little right arm of mine (for all those unfamiliar when i was born the drs ripped me out by my right arm, severing the nerves and tendons from my spine, nice i know!) IT IS SO MUCH STRONGER! i did bicep curls this morning and FELT them! we have been able to come up with new ways for me to train them, so now its not so bad... it is now gone from my leat favourite part to train to my favourite coz i know it can ONLY GET BETTER! WOOHOO!

Looks like things are progressing awesomely Ms Kat!!
With the breakfast thing, try 1/2 cup crunch before you leave the house.
Then 1/2 cup bircher muesli for breakfast. By spacing it out, you may burn it off by the time lunch comes around.

aww thanks Ms Rae... will give it a go. Amelia also said today that my metabolism is probably still quite sluggish and maybe that'swhy im not getting hungry also... lol not many ppl complain about not being hungry:) just trying to make sure the balanceis right!
