To rest or not to rest...

bugger, bugger, bugger... bwaaaaa i hurt my wrist!!!! I don't know how, i am presuming bad form whilst holding the bar doing legs the other day.... i am actually pretty confident that is exactly what caused it! It was killing last night, and i could barely straighten it out this morning... so i have smothered it in voltaren and wrapped it in a bandage for extra support!! Good sympathy trip! :)

I was gutted i was supposed to do legs today, i woke up with it still sore and thought what to do ? Wanna do weights but that would probably be stupid, so i donned my exercise gear and decided something was better than nothing and i'd just go for a brisk walk... stupid me steal thought i'd check out the possibility of doing weights anyway if i supported it moreso with my right arm... yeah yeah i know i know.... i shouldn't have, but it put my mind at ease, once i'd hoisted the bar on to my shoulders and got my hand in to position i could feel the stretch in the same place i hurt... and decided to forget it, im supposed to do upper body tomorrow and god only knows how important it is for me to do these work outs, it's where i need the most work, so have everything crossed it's just a strain and will be all better by tomorrows training session.... alas, if it's not i'll still do legs.... that's the beauty of having equipment i will still be able to use leg press and change things around so i don't have to use my wrist for lower body.... well, to a point anyway... but once again, something is better than nothing.. and i just cant stop, the momentum is bujilt now and i have to keep going to make it stronger, as i know what happens when i break for to long, despite having this uncanny love for what i do, my mind has issues with me getting back on track, so it's best just to not have the "down time".....so that's what im doing... keeping on keeping on... it's working very well!

I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend, the blog boards have gone a bit quiet, keep dropping in on blogs that havent been updated in AGES... where are all you girls... oh well, wherever you are, hope ur havin a phat time!! take care!!!

Oh no I hope your wrist is on the mend - very frustrating, you dont realise how much you need your wrists when you do weights until it hurts! I get a painful "click" in my wrist sometimes, and its bizarre how much it depletes my strength sometimes.

Sounds like everything else is going great!

I hope you wrist gets better soon. And like you said, as long as you do something, even walk, it's better than nothing.
