Day 9 of 84

I've decided to note my 84 day mission in my blog - i've been using the Body for Life journal which i am just raving about; honestly if you do decide to do the body for life at any stage this journal is worth every cent! I went off the tracks a little over the weekend, but by having to pencil in my journal it helped me get back on track, review my goals and get moving again!

12 week goals:
1. in 12 weeks i will be 56kg's
2. in 12 weeks i will be a non smoker
3. in 12 weeks i will be picking up my new white bikini and will love wearing it christmas day!! (woohoo bring it on) i gotta make it fit or it will be a wate of money
4. in 12 weeks i will be comfortable in all of my sz 10 clothing
5. i will be able to cope with hard fishing in our summer heat, will be able to walk down the beach without my thighs chaffing and will have extrea strength to pull in REAL BIG fish!

Sometimes i feel so silly for being back here; like with all the stuff i have done i should be heaps further along - but i really feel as if i have found such a comfortable way of living that for once i will alwAys be able to maintain living this way - it's not hard at all (well compared to a lot of other stuff i've done) but i suppose it's got a lot to do with the fact that i have trained myself over a long period of time to eat healthy and exercise - of course there's day i dont want to drag my ass out of bed, but that white bikini is pretty damn motivational :) i have fallen off the band wagon so many times, and it may be pathetic to some - but im still here@!! and still ready to keep on trying.

having personal training sessions is fantastic, im finding it so beneficial for my upper body especially (due to the problem with my right shoulder) im getting stronger every session, it's a little frustrating at times but i keep on pushing because there is only 1 way to make it stronger and that's to keep going!

i have learned so much from training with a personal trainer; heaps about my muscles and have got really good form now - which i was lacking b4 - with my drive- if i had of started with a real life personal trainer from the beginning i would be so much further along - i never miss appts and look forward to everyone of them, i get SO EXCITED; and it makes clean living so much easier - just knowing that someone is actually gonna pat ya on the back and say "u r doing wicked' or kick u up the butt when u need it, and now i can see how ppl who train with trainers initially then even if they go it alone they learn so many good habits to start off with! The on-line training was good it taught me a lot of things - but nothing compares to real life training sessions and having gym equipment! Im using my home gym for my own style circuit classes so it's not going to be wasted, but it really is such a luxury to have a gym to work out in and i am getting to use my upper body so much more due to the restrictions in my shoulder - everything is starting to improve 10 fold!!!! YAY

Hi Kat...thanks for visiting my blog. :-)

Ah, BFL - it's the best! *sigh* I lo-o-o-ve Bill Phillips, the man's a genius. And gorgeous. LOL.

A good friend of mine, Debbie Rossi, says that you don't find BFL, BFL finds you. And I'm sure she's right - it seems to come along just when you need it most. Check out her fab photos at www.desirefitness.com.au

Keep focusing on your progress!

I love your goals - they are so real.

Your comment about feeling so silly about not being further along is so true. It has taken me 5 years of starting, achieving, falling and starting again to finally get some perspective and peace with my body and the way it looks and the way I feel about it.

I can't wait to hear more.....
