Day 10

i don't know what's happened overnight - i got home and i just wanted a beer... so i had a few, then had a bad meal and im like c'mon kaddy white bikinis, 56kgs get on top of it.... but i gave in and am mad at myself.

im having a BAD week! i cant get my mind right.....been over tired..... and just feeling like crap; which is making it hard to stay on track, my personal trainer wants me doing cardio everyday; but i have only been doing BFL style, i did weights mon, highpoint walk/run yesterday; am doing weights again tonigbht so i have done the bare minimum and am riding my bike EVERYWHERE and just about every meal is ok, so i don't know why im being so hard on myself. I just don't think im fit enough to keep up with cardio everyday; i'd rather eat less & exercise less, but im not going to fight against my decision, im going to do BFL properly and see how it goes with the results. Here's hoping for a strong day today!

Hi kaddy,

Stuff like this happens - it was a bad day, you can't change what you ate so just keep moving forward. Maybe even swap your free meal day to yesterday?

If you are tired, rest. If you keep beating yourself up you will stress. Stress releases cortisol - and your body won't loose fat as quickly.

Be calm, and don't "try" to be strong. Just be it.

Hello chicken!!!
Whoa, you've had a bit or a rollercoaster of a week hey. OK one beer, whatever, it's gone now, so don't fret bout it!
And hey, with the exercise, you've done it all as per the book, don't fret if you're not doing cardio sessions every day... u are riding your bike as an extra!! That could count - depending how fast you ride ;) lol
I'm so proud of you!! Keep going with the flow... we WILLLLLL get to where we wanna go!!!

Hey Kaddy,

We all have days (or weeks!) like this. You just have to move on. I often think that it's not the actual "binge" that causes the damage, it is the reultant guilt and then lack of motivation to exercise afterwards that stuffs us up.

Keep up the good work and be proud of yourself-you are going well!

That word was supposed to be "resultant". I really have to start reading my comments before I publish them! :)

Kat I have the same thing with alcohol - after work (specially a bad day) I just think "Gee a glass of wine would go down well right now"! I have trouble saying no sometimes!

Like the other girls said, sometimes you just gotta put it behind you and move on. No point dwelling on it! I think you're doing great doing BFL, I have done it before and gotten good results.

Hopey ou had the strong day you were shooting for!
