OMG I AM SO EXCITED!!!! The other night when dan and i had the olive seed/oil bottle conversation i said to him afterwards "u have no idea what u have done, u have just unleashed a monster"
the conversation happened on Sunday night, i have been so frustrated with life here in general, been wanting to start investing but feel trapped from here, dan working 60 hrs a week & me neally 50, no time doing the things we love to do so much; can't afford to buy a house here as we're looking at $420-450k for a thirty year old house... u should see em they're CRAP no shit! i KNOW!! it's crap!! want a family but can't afford one here and i have had a GUTFUL!
I AM now MOTIVATED to make the required changes!
I confided in him last night that i really want to do the Bachelor of Sports Science Degree and that it was available at either Charles Darwin Uni or James Cooke in Townesville (oh and in loads of other places but they're the only two places i would even consider taking him, (HE IS IN NO WAY FOND OF ANY CITIES) so i've been working on a place that would suit us both, so aannnyyywaaaay.....
he agreed to move for me last night!!!!!! OMG i couldn't sleep, i was up at 4.30am after a very restless sleep and by 8.00am i had finalised the application details for my degree, called a perspective hiring butcher shops for dan; the guy i spoke to was great - VERY HELPFUL
hopefully i have got enough leverage as to why leaving in the next few months is a good idea :) barra fishing all year, holidays to weipa and rainforrests, great fishing, better work conditions blah blah blah.... GO KAT GO READY AIM SECURE THE DEAL!!!!
SO WHAT DO U THINK, A MONSTER UNLEASHED.??? i kid u not, for those who doubted the olive seed/oil bottle would have a lasting impact, i understand, as i have not been big on following through on commitments in the passed, however as i said watch my dust, and i supposed it will be coming from the back of our 4wd as we leave this pindan behind!!!!! WOOHOO

I've spent a fair bit of time in Townsville, I liked it. Apart from the jellyfish nets to swim in!! There is a great fitness lifestyle up there too - lots of people always out jogging the Strand or up Castle Hill every day!
