I just walked away from a gathering because i just couldn't face being there - i'm the biggest i have ever been- i am so ashamed and embarrassed.
the people who were there tonight witnessed me totally transform myself in 2007 - i worked hard - i trained hard and i just freakin did it - i was the talk of the town (very small town - so people do talk a reasonable amount).
Now i am so embarrassed.......i am big bloated and unhealthy - i was healthier before i started 'trying' to 'lose weight' - how ironic - am constantly cranky at myslef for letting things get this bad - where is happy kat? where is the happy kat who loved the beach, fishing and was the life of the party???? i have a room full of clothes that are beautiful and don't fit - barely can fit a leg in them! in all honesty starting 12 week programs in the long run was probably the worsed thing i did -i lived in a trapped world of '12 week' blocks - it's ridiculous. Anyway - i have vowed that i won't let another year go by like this. I refuse to feel like crap about myself anymore.
BRING ON 2009!

Hi there! I just noticed your comment on Selina's blog and thought "she's back!".
Don't worry I have some weight to lose too. I think that 2009 will be the year of change. We can do it. Time to train hard and eat well.

(((HUGS))) Time to make it a lifestyle kitty-Kat and not something you do for a while and let go. Don't do everything all at once... the diet and the hard core training as it's easy to burn out this way. Start by either training or cleaning up your diet. Then bring the other one into it slowly. A big goal cut into smaller chunks and a week at a time...
Ie. Week one: choose only one night per week to drink.
Week two: daily walks.
Week three: make a clean breakfast choice
Week four: include weights training.
etc., etc. and you don't necessarily have to do it in that order.
If anything can get you to change your lifestyle and that is how you are feeling right now. Sometimes we have to hit bottom before we change for good. Don't forget that success is how high you bounce when you do hit bottom.
